Haiti earthquake disaster
Across the world, most every one has heard about the Haiti earthquake disaster. Here at ASWP one of our own members, bigmac a.k.a. Howard, has been personally involved over the years in medical missionary work including teaching in Haiti and performing surgeries. He has posted a couple of pictures and letters from survivors who have contacted him since the disaster. Project Haiti has been a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization since 1993, and as such donations are entirely tax deductible. None of the money donated goes to expenses - we cover those ourselves out-of-pocket and always have. Every surgeon, nurse, anesthetist, OR tech pays their own way down there and back. Every single dime contributed goes to Haiti.
